Alternator Size?

Post by Gamecock » Sunday, 11 October 2009, 16:26 PM

Can someone hook me up with some info. please. I have been away for awhile but Im getting ready to hook up everything again. I have got a Maverick A-24 Radio with a X-Force 400 box and a steel whip. All this pulls alot of amps so in my last Z71 I stepped up on the alternator. Now I have a 2005 chevy Z71 and dont know the size of alternator it has or if it can handle and if it cant what or my options?

I run a 78 with a G/spot 800 (2 x 4) in a 96 Chevy Silverado. All it has is a 100 amp altenator and 3 batterys.

Add a couple of more batterys. And you should do some talking. Also securely ground your system with extrnal grounds.
