does anyone know how to disable talkback (no switch) on this radio?

That radio didn't come with talkback...so if you have it, it's been added.
Look on the foil side of the board for a resistor between the pa jack and the
ext. speaker jack.

By far my favorite radio next to my trc 432. Sorry I can't help. Mine didnt have talkback.
